New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is looking to expand his horizons around Gillette Stadium in Foxboro – not far from Boston. Kraft has purchased an additional 26 acres near the stadium for a development project that will likely become a mall aimed at men. There are also plans to build a flyover from a hotel on the west side of Route 1 to the stadium and the mall. The Kraft family have not commented on the proposed development, which is expected to be called Patriots Place. But is known that one of the centerpiece stores is expected to be Bass Pro Shops, a nationally-known outdoor retailer.
